Samsung Galaxy S4 Launched Globally

Hi..you all know i have been reviewing and also posted several posts about Samsung Galaxy S3 ..now its Time for Samsung Galaxy S4..Yes..Samsung Galaxy S4 Launched Globally at the Unpacked Events 2013 in Manhattan’s iconic Radio City Music Hall on Thursday evening (US Time).

At first glance the Samsung Galaxy S4 might look very similar to its Galaxy S 3 Predecessor but it’s completely new phone on the inside that it takes to keep Samsung ahead of the Android Pack.

The Samsung Galaxy S4 is also the First Smartphone to feature an Octo-Core CPU and also their will be a second version of Samsung Galaxy S4 powered by a Snapdragon 600 chipset but not unsure in which market we get it.

The most important of these features is gesture-based control, which allows a user to perform several tasks on the phone without touching the screen. With the help of the front camera, Samsung allows users to perform many ‘smart’ functions even if they don’t touch the device. A prime example of smart gesture is ‘smart pause’ which pauses videos automatically if a user looks away from the screen. It resumes the video once the users again looks at the phone. Similarly, users can scroll down on to a web page while reading an article by simply swiping their hand from up to down in air. They don’t need to touch the screen.

It will be on the market globally from April (not sure with the dates and prices as they didn’t announced yet)

In India several people assuming that it would cost around 40K as S3 is around Rs.28K.

According to IDC, Samsung led the list of top smartphone makers in 2012 with a Market Share of around 30%. Apple was second with the market share of around 19%. However, in terms of revenue and profit from smartphones, Apple was ahead of Samsung.
